Bio

Ummi Rahima (b. 2002, Singapore), also known as Miso, is an aspiring artist based in Singapore. She is currently pursuing a Degree in Fine Arts at LASALLE College of the Arts.

 

In 2015, she won a recognition award for the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) and was also a nominee for the MENDAKI Anugerah Belia Cemerlang Award (ABC) in 2021.

 

Her artwork has taken the idea of escapism into the world of fantasy as the core narrative to inquire relevant issues of today’s society that is constantly changing and shifting. She seeks to visually create these stories with inspiration from classic films of Studio Ghibli and music she loves at the same time, to continue developing her skills in different forms of visual arts from drawing to sculpture making.
